Poet, software engineer, and storyteller. I believe that complex societal issues, like human rights, climate action, mental health, and misinformation, are best understood when we ground them in a relatable voice. My creative journey focuses on connecting African communities through narratives that honor our shared perspectives. From directing Engero: Foundations (a multi-disciplinary fusion of poetry, music, and dance) to performing on stages like the Ubumuntu Arts Festival, the East Africa Poetic Hour, and collaborating with the Ugandan Ministry of ICT and British Council, my life's work is simple: using bytes of code and blocks of verses to keep African stories vibrant, connected, and heard!
